Join us with local birders Fianna & Blythe Wilde and Candace Campo, founder of Talaysay Tours; for a fun-filled day of birding at our Christmas Bird Count 4 Kids Event (CBC4KIDS)! This event is perfect for young bird enthusiasts who want to learn more about our feathered friends. We will be meeting at 4595 Sunshine Coast Hwy - Mission House, ts'ukw'um (Mission Point) Park for a day of bird counting and nature exploration. We'll be travelling a 0.4km loop trail while learning fun facts and how to identify and count our local birds such as Great Blue Herons, sea ducks and Bald Eagles. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with nature and learn more about the birds in our area.

After our bird counting adventure we will join for story sharing, hot chocolate / tea, and snacks! If you're able to, please bring your own mug / tumbler to enjoy your warm treat.

Remember to bring your binoculars! There will be some to borrow and share for those who don't have any.
