Candace T. Campo and Larry Campo – Aboriginal Eco Tours & Talaysay Tours
This program is unique and wellness based. Indigenous Forest Connections blends Forest Therapy (aka Forest Bathing) Practices with Indigenous Teachings.
Candace Campo, teacher, anthropologist, forest guide in training incorporates forest therapy with Indigenous concepts and indigenous world view and teachings.
Haida Bolton, BC’s First Certified Forest Therapy Guide, will create a calming, nurturing experience as she “opens the door” to the medicine of the forest, inviting students to interact with nature in various meaningful and healing ways. Forest Connections, a land-based learning program, is designed for students to experience the land experientially with the 5 senses as a collective and in person.
The students will be invited to engage in a series of activities providing an opportunity to connect to the forest with all the senses which inspires greater curiosity, creativity and connection with oneself.
This is an education and wellness tour. If you want an educational – indigenous history and technology tour, we recommend you book the Talking Trees or Spoken Treasures Tour.
